What this site is

This site is an independent editorial project that reviews eToro from the perspective of traders in Nigeria. We are not eToro and we are not affiliated with the broker - the name is used only to identify the service under review. Our goal is simple: give readers a clear, honest picture of what opening and running an account actually looks like, including the parts a broker's own marketing tends to leave out.

The author behind this site

Emily Norwood

Emily Norwood - Payments Pragmatist. Retail trader focused on the operational side of funding an account. Emily Norwood sets the editorial direction of this site: every page follows the same standard - plain language, verifiable facts, and a clear verdict on who the service suits and who it does not. Meet the full editorial team and see who covers what.

Our review method

Our reviews are grounded in verifiable sources: regulator registers and alert lists, the broker's own legal documents and published trading conditions, and independent user-review platforms such as Trustpilot. Every page shows its publication date; when the underlying facts change, we update the page - and the date with it.

How this site makes money

Some links on this site are partner links: if you open an account with a regulated alternative we recommend, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never changes our assessment of eToro - the facts on these pages stay the same whether or not you use those links. Nothing here is financial advice; always confirm that a broker is authorised to serve clients in your country before depositing money.
