What This Site Collects

You come here to read a review of a broker, and you should be able to do that without handing over much. When you open a page, our hosting setup records basic technical data: the type of device and browser you use, the approximate region your connection comes from, the pages you view and the time you spend on them. If you use the contact form on this site, we receive whatever you choose to type there, including your name and the reply details you enter, so that we can answer you.

We do not ask for your trading account details, your login credentials for any platform, your deposits, your portfolio, your bank or card numbers, or identity documents such as a passport or utility bill. We do not run a financial service, so there is no reason for us to hold any of that, and we ask that you do not send it to us through the contact form or in any message.

Cookies and similar tools are used in a limited way, mainly to keep the site working and to see which articles are read. Any optional analytics or advertising cookies are presented to you through a consent banner, and you can refuse them or change your choice later in your browser settings. Blocking cookies does not stop you from reading the reviews.

Legal Basis

Where data protection law applies to us, we rely on a small number of grounds. The technical logs and security records we keep are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a functioning, safe website that is not abused by automated traffic. Nothing in that interest overrides your own rights, and we keep the data to the minimum needed for it.

When you send a message through the contact form, we process your details because you have asked us to respond to you; if you later want that correspondence removed, you can say so. Optional analytics and any advertising cookies are placed on the basis of your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Where we are required to keep or disclose something because a law or a valid order demands it, that obligation is the basis for the processing. We do not build profiles of you for decisions that would affect your access to credit, services or prices, because we do not offer those things.

Sharing and Recipients

The people who see your data are few. Our hosting and content delivery provider stores the site and the server logs on our behalf. Our email and form-handling provider carries messages you send us. If optional analytics or advertising tools are active, those providers receive the technical data described above. Each of these providers is bound by a contract that limits them to processing the data for the purpose we set, and none of them may use it for their own marketing.

We never sell your personal data, and we do not rent or trade it. We do not pass it to the broker whose review you are reading, and we do not pass it to any other broker, platform or marketing partner, whether or not that party appears somewhere on this site. We are not affiliated with any broker, and a review being published here does not create a data-sharing relationship with the company reviewed.

We may disclose information where we are legally required to do so, or where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim, or to protect the site and its readers from fraud or attack. If the site is ever transferred to another owner, reader data may move with it, and we would tell you on this page before that happened.

Location and Retention

Our servers and those of the providers we use are located outside Nigeria, mainly in the European Union and the United States, so your data may be transferred to and stored in those countries. Where the law requires safeguards for such transfers, we rely on the standard contractual terms offered by those providers. Some recipients may also be subject to requests from authorities in their own jurisdictions, and we will challenge any request that appears overbroad.

We keep contact messages for as long as it takes to deal with your query and then for a short period afterwards in case the matter comes up again, after which they are deleted. Server logs are kept for a limited period and then overwritten or erased. Consent records are kept for as long as needed to show that we respected your choice.

When a retention period ends, the data is deleted or anonymised so that it no longer identifies you. You can ask us to delete a message you sent earlier, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.

Age Limits

This site is written for adults who are considering a broker and who are old enough to open a trading account under Nigerian law. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under eighteen.

If you are under eighteen, please do not use the contact form or send us personal details. If we learn that a message or record belongs to a child, we will delete it. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent us information can contact us through the contact form on this site and ask for its removal.
